There are two types of prints available. Custom archival prints are made on Epson Premium Luster Photo Paper. Fine art prints are made on Epson Velvet Fine Art Paper. Only images in the Fine Art Gallery are available on the velvet finish. All new prints are printed on an Epson 4000 inkjet printer using archival pigment inks, which will last a lifetime under typical display conditions. Some prints in inventory have been printed with different printers on various other papers. These are noted on the Special Offers page.
All prints are signed and include a Certificate of Authenticity and a print care label. Some fine art prints are numbered limited editions. With a few exceptions, custom archival prints are open editions. Available sizes vary depending on the original format and cropping, ranging from approximately 9"x14" to approximately 16"x20". Print sizes refer to the size of the image on the paper, not the paper itself.
Because of the extra costs involved, including shipping fees, prints are generally sold unframed. Finding just the right matting and framing combination to suit your own tastes and complement your display environment is more easily and efficiently done at your local frame shop. Unframed prints are mounted on acid-free foam board with enough extra space for matting and framing, typically between three and five inches on each of the four dimensions.
